MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – May 5, 2014 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Ed Deming
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
MassWorks Strap Grant – Conservation Commission has scheduled May 8th for site visit
Conservation Hearing is scheduled for May 13th
An email from Erica Kreuter, Senior Project Manager stating that until a construction schedule is put together a contract with the Town will not be written. Note that if there are any costs incurred prior to an executed contract they will have to be covered by the Town.
Ed requested some assistant from the board on how to dispose of misc tires. The Selectboard suggested Ed to contact the Town of Sandisfield’s Department of Public Works for they have a process in place.
A legal notice will be written for the sale of the old police cruiser. There will be a minimum bid of $2,500.
A letter will be sent to the Town’s of Blandford, Russell, Otis, New Marlboro, Granville, Southwick, Sandisfield and Hartland to invite officials to the HazMat Exercise to be held on June 7th.
Reviewed Fiscal 2015 Buildings and Grounds budget.
